How to Share Your Music

Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009

Music is one thing that most people love. Whether you like to relax to classical piano tunes, chill out to jazz, or rock to your favorite pop songs, you probably have friends who enjoy the kinds of music that you like, too. In fact, music often brings people together, whether it’s because people enjoy talking about music they have in common or because people love to introduce other people to new bands, genres, and songs. Sharing your music can be a great way to make friends or to give gifts to friends you’ve known for a while.

The problem is, though, that it’s hard to share music these days. Since most people are using online platforms and software to download and listen to music, you will want to have music formatted for computer-based listening. But most software programs for downloading and listening to music have restrictions on how you can share music, and some, like iTunes, don’t let you share music at all.

This can be really frustrating, especially if you’ve made up a great playlist of new songs or old favorites that you want to share with others. There is, however, a great new way to give your friends songs quite easily. All you have to do is download iPod music transfer software onto your computer and have your friend download it as well.

This software works with iTunes and iPod, and it allows you to synch your iPod with more than one computer, which, as you know, you can’t normally do, and to download songs from your iPod onto a computer. All you have to do is make you fantastic playlist in iTunes, upload it to your iPod, and then take your iPod to your friend’s house. As long as she also has this software, you can take the songs from your iPod and easily put them on her computer.
